Stockilla will take place Oct. 7-8 at Santee Lakes. (Shutterstock) SANTEE, CA — Stockilla is set to return to Santee Lakes. The two-day "mega catfish stock event," slated Oct. 7-8, will bring 3,500 pounds of catfish to Lakes 2-7, according to event organizers. There will also be tagged fish for gift cards. "It's a great time to come out and catch some catfish," said event coordinator Greg Even. "If you are camping with us, it is your lucky weekend!" Permits cost $10 for adults, $6 for juniors and $6 for seniors.
